Black Women Have NO Human Rights

December 16, 2017

Nearly three women each day in the U.S. dies from domestic violence. For children the stats are even more grim, between four and seven children every day dies from child abuse and neglect. Needless to say there’s an epidemic on our human rights as women and children. Who is the culprit? Men!

In particular Black women suffer at a higher rate than White Women at a staggering rate. Black women are 35% more likely to be in a domestic violence relationship. Black women are 4 times more likely to be murdered by their significant other (boyfriend, husband or lover). “Although Black women constitute only 13% of the U.S. population, they comprise half of the homicides against women in America.”

The words of Malcolm X, “The most disrespected woman in America is the Black woman” and it stands true today over fifty years later.

We are made to feel as if our existence is for everyone’s pleasure. Men beat us, rape us (60% of Black Women by the age of 18 will be raped) and eventually murder us. And after we are buried with our lives half fulfilled people will speak recklessly about us questioning our victimhood by saying things like, ‘She should have chose better.’ ‘Black Women love thugs.’ Because ultimately we are muses and mules; amusing mules; amazing mules for everyone’s viewing pleasure until we are no longer useful and meet our tragic demise at the men we think love us. Misogynoir. A tragic love story with fatal consequences. In a world full of racism the men we birth turn on us like parasites sucking the soul and empathy out of us. Feasting on our blind loyalty and empathy until we die in the arms of our sisters who will fail to see the red flags of dysfunction and step right up on the conveyer belt of Black love like an assembly line inside the factory of Black generational trauma.

The most recent book trailer part Part 40 I reveal by the end of middle school I had completely sunken into depression. Everything was a drag but certain pops of happiness kept me going with masking my pain. I was the go to person for support and relief but I couldn't relieve myself. I reference how Robin Williams was a comedian but committed suicide due to depression. Click HERE to watch.
