Double Face Poisonous Tongue

May 7, 2016

Have you ever heard people say alcohol is a truth serum? If you want to know what someone really thinks of you get them drunk? People always tell the truth when they're drunk? This is true because the typical restrictions like manners don't apply to a drunk who isn't sober enough to speak in coherent sentences never mind be passive. Another truth test is anger. Anger is the most powerful and unrestrained emotions. The most truest and volatile of them all. It has no boundaries and seeks release through destruction. Anger can hold the most heaviest object past the heavens but it can also demolish it into ashes without prior notice.

People who get angry fast on the consistent bases watch them intensively. Those types will wish you the best and say the nicest things when they're in favor of you. Soon as anger creeps up from behind like a stick-up kid in the midnight hour at the bad section of town and takes over their intentions, all the strength of hatred spews from their lips, their poisonous tongue drips with disrespect and of course, the excuse is "I was angry." The poisonous tongue can slice smooth through a boulder covered in the roughest reptile scales, lodged tight inside of an iceberg. Anger is not an acceptable reason to be disgusting, insulting, profane, flippant, contemptuous, plain old mean. As I always say, you only have one time to disrespect me so choose wisely. What people don't care to understand is that words have just as much of a damaging effect if not worse than physical assaults, especially to a person who has low self-esteem. Luckily for me I have a solid, 'No fucks given policy.' I traveled a 21-year journey to finding who I am and every day since then I improve on the raw model so anyone's opinions of me are just as valid as used toilet paper.

But for those who have come in contact with people like this, (and many of us will) and you don't know how to deal with these people, I say fuck them. As Beyoncé said in "Sorry" (off the Lemonade album), "I ain't thinking 'bout you. I ain't sorry." "Middle fingers up." "Boy bye." Don't settle for people who secretly want to destroy you, and only have the balls to say what they feel or show their real motives when they're upset like a child throwing a tantrum. Rise up and squash them with your success. Jot this experience down for future references so you can dodge imitations. Double Face Poisonous Tongues will not be the death of you!
