For those who are absolutely dumbfounded as to why Erykah Badu was dead wrong for vouching for a Predator like Kodak Black, let me make it crystal clear for you, BECAUSE KODAK BLACK IS A PREDATOR. Would you keep a deadly, poisons, highly agitated animal in your home next to your children? No you wouldn't, but you would want one free to roam the streets to prey on the neighborhood? So he can create more of that Black on Black crime reality that Pro Blackers love to deny? Erykah Badu has two a...

Unless you've been living under a rock, I'm sure you've heard about Jesse Williams's speech on June 26th at the BET Awards after accepting his Humanitarian Award. Jesse Williams is known for his role on Grey's Anatomy as a handsome doctor but over the weekend that's not what people remember him for. People are dedicating Tweets, Facebook posts, YouTube videos, etc. to Jesse all because of Jesse's five minute and some seconds speech. In the speech, Jesse Williams thanked his parents who were in t...

This blog post is about yes, Brock Turner (I'll be making a video on this topic on the VIEIS_ME YouTube Channel. Check it out, subscribe & share!). I'm assuming you've heard about Brock Turner the former Stanford University Swimmer, who raped a young woman in a dark alley behind a dumpster. You also know that he was charged with rape and sentenced to six months in jail. Why? Because a longer sentence would harm him, Brock, the rapist. What pissed off people the most proceeding the verdict was th...

I didn't forget to blog! I just had a lot to do and I still do. Being an entrepreneur there's always things to do! I finished piecing together two videos on the Vie Ciné YouTubeChannel, check them out below.

Had to make this quick blog post about this topic. If you know me, you know I don't get down with that colorsim debacle. In the words of Q-Tip, "Black is Black." But I do watch these colorism conversations and debates in the cut. The overall consensus is that it's still alive, and it's still a criteria based on an irrelevant slave survival status that somehow crept its way into this modern era within the Black community. I don't know if any non-Black people read my blog, but if you do, hey you....

Y'all I know I'm late with this blog, but I wasn't motivated to bless y'all with thought provoking content. Yes, I'm a daily blogger; however, I want to give you something to ponder on not something to just glance at. I saw a video on YouTube by a vlogger named Kendro, (TheKendroShow) and was giving her very insightful opinion on Roots the remake that was shown over the Memorial Weekend. I watched her video and agreed 100 percent. Before seeing her video, I also saw two other videos by YouTuber...

This topic is about Black hypocrisy. After having an interesting conversation, we somewhat stumbled across certain topics that validated my initial thought. Many Black people "talk that shit because it's good shit but they're not about that shit." What I meant by that is there are many YouTube revolutionaries out there that talk about White Supremacy and what we as Blacks need to do to conquer it. Some go about having a revolutionary uprising, others talk about killing Whites, and the vast ma...

Complacency makes it easy to project the potential rejection that enslaves you in fear. I've been there, and I have the receipt to prove that I've done that. My perception is there's nothing to it but to do it and I gotta do it. My goal is to build an empire, how can I if my time is held in the hands of someone else's vision? A job is to keep you afloat, but never to get you rich and never to pass on to the next gen. I'm thinking in generational quantities, and I gots a checklist to do before I...

Yesterday May 30th, 2016 was Memorial Day. Memorial Day is a federal holiday that was selected by the federal government to honor people who died while serving the country's armed forces. The last Monday of May is considered Memorial Day. On Facebook (Vie Ciné) I saw a bunch of memes by Blacks stating that Memorial Day isn't for Blacks and how this country, the United States doesn't love or fight for us as we do for them. That lead me to ask, "What does Memorial Day mean to Black people?" No on...

Malcolm X aka el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz's birthday was on May 19th. If he was alive today he'd be 91 years young and one day. What is there to say about the honorable, impactful, role model Malcolm X? A lot! The man, we as people, use as an example to change our negative behaviors is today's blog post subject. If you didn't know, Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little on May 19th, 1925. His father, Earl Little was a follower of the Honorable Marcus Garvey and a Baptist Minister that was killed by the...
